1Who We Are & What This Covers

CMT Platform (“CMT Platform,” “we,” “us”) is a construction materials testing and special inspection firm located at 12425 W. Airport Blvd., Suite 207, Sugar Land, TX 77478.

This policy applies to information we collect through the CMT Platform payment portal at www.cmtplatform.com (including invoice payment links we send you), through the CMT Platform Payment Notifications SMS program, and in the course of billing and servicing your account. It does not cover the practices of companies we do not control, such as your bank or wireless carrier.

2Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account and billing information. Name, company, email address, phone number, billing address, project references, and the invoices and payment history associated with your account.
  • Payment information. Payments are processed by our payment processor (Stripe, Inc.). When you pay by bank transfer (ACH) or card, your full bank account or card details are collected and processed by Stripe under its own terms and privacy policy. We receive and store only limited references — such as payment status, the last four digits of the account or card, and processor transaction identifiers — not your full account or card numbers.
  • SMS consent records. If you enroll in the CMT Platform Payment Notifications program, we record your mobile number, the date and time of your opt-in, the exact disclosure language you were shown, the page on which you enrolled, and technical details of the enrollment (such as IP address and browser information), along with any later opt-out.
  • Technical and usage information. When you use the payment portal we automatically collect standard log data such as IP address, device and browser type, and the pages and links you interact with, used for security, fraud prevention, and to operate the service.

3How We Use Information

We use this information to:

  • issue invoices, process payments, and maintain accurate billing records;
  • send transactional communications about your account, including payment confirmations, receipts, and invoice reminders by email and — if you opt in — by text message;
  • respond to your questions and provide customer support;
  • secure the platform, prevent fraud, and audit access;
  • comply with legal, tax, accounting, and records-retention obligations, including maintaining proof of communications consent; and
  • operate, maintain, and improve the payment portal.

We do not use your information for third-party advertising.

4SMS & Mobile Information

The CMT Platform Payment Notifications program sends transactional text messages only — transactional text messages related to your account and invoices, including payment confirmations, receipts, payment-link delivery, and invoice reminders. The program is governed by our SMS Terms & Conditions.

No sharing of mobile information

Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All categories of information described in this policy exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Opting out. You can stop receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP (or QUIT, END, REVOKE, OPT OUT, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or any message that reasonably communicates your intent to opt out) to any Program message, or by contacting us at info@cmtplatform.com or (832) 730-3998. After an opt-out request you will receive one confirmation message and no further Program messages. Reply HELP for help at any time. Message and data rates may apply; message frequency varies.

5How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We share information only as follows:

  • Service providers. Vendors that perform services on our behalf and only as needed to provide them — payment processing (Stripe), text-message delivery (our SMS platform and the wireless carriers that transmit messages), email delivery, cloud hosting and data storage, and accounting systems. These providers are bound to use the information only to provide services to us. Consistent with Section 4, text-messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
  • Legal and safety. When required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of CMT Platform, our clients, or others.
  • Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, in which case this policy continues to apply to your information.

6Data Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we hold, including encryption of data in transit and at rest, field-level encryption for especially sensitive values, role-based access controls, and audit logging. Payment credentials are handled by our PCI-DSS compliant payment processor and are not stored on our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7Data Retention

We retain billing records, payment records, and communications-consent records (including SMS opt-in and opt-out history) for at least 7 years, consistent with our records-retention program and applicable legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements. Technical logs are retained for shorter operational periods unless needed for security investigations.

8Your Rights & Choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, subject to records we are required to keep (for example, invoices, payment records, and consent history). To make a request, contact us at info@cmtplatform.com or (832) 730-3998. We will verify your request and respond within a reasonable time and as required by applicable law, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

You can opt out of text messages as described in Section 4 at any time. Opting out of texts does not affect transactional emails about your invoices or any amounts owed.

9Children's Privacy

The payment portal and SMS program are business services intended for adults. They are not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The revision number and effective date at the top of this page identify the current version. If we make material changes, we will post the updated policy here before it takes effect and, where appropriate, notify you through the contact information on your account.
